Woven Pandan Cushion

Hand-woven from dried pandan by artisans in the island communities of Cuyo, Magsaysay and Agutaya, in the far northeast of Palawan — where weaving offers a living alongside the sea.

Each cushion carries the quiet irregularity of work made by hand; the leaf softens to a warm ivory over time. At home against linen indoors, or under a palm by the water.

These cushions are made by artisans supported through the Andres Soriano Foundation, whose Small Islands Livelihood Programme brings sustained economic opportunity to island households across Northern Palawan.

Materials
Hand-woven dried pandan leaf, 0.5 cm split. Filled with recycled cotton and fully stitched closed — a complete cushion, ready to use.
