The Marina is the first clutch we ever made, and we have carried her through every season since. A clutch in pale mother of pearl, drawn from the sea and set by hand, quiet enough to go anywhere.
The shell is found first, then coaxed clean. It is soaked until the sea loosens its hold and the debris drifts away, then polished slowly until its lustre returns.
Made over nine weeks by twenty artisans in the Philippines, whose skills have been passed down through generations and whose time is honoured fairly. So no two are quite alike.
