The Eve was made for Christmas, a quiet wink to Adam and Eve. She is all garden and earth, deep green pen shell finished with a turquoise stone. For end of year evenings, or anywhere that wants a little drama.
The shell is found, then slowly revealed. It is soaked until the sea loosens its hold and the salt and silt fall away, then polished by hand until its depth comes through.
Made over nine weeks by twenty artisans in the Philippines, whose skills have been passed down through generations and whose time is honoured fairly. For the evening, and the years after it.
