The first of our Day Collection, and one half of a pair. The Bonnie is set in a mosaic of violet oyster shell, soft purple, pink and white, with a polished wooden handle and a simple zip. Easy enough for daytime, lovely enough for more.
Each shell is found, then slowly revealed. It is soaked until the sea loosens its hold and the debris falls away, then polished by hand and set piece by piece.
Made by hand by artisans in the Philippines, whose skills have been passed down through generations and whose time is honoured fairly. So no two are quite alike.
