The Clyde

The other half of the pair, and with the Bonnie the first of our Day Collection. The Clyde is set in a mosaic of black tab shell, warm coconut and dark ebony, with a polished wooden handle and a simple zip. Quiet, dark and easy to carry.

Each shell is found, then slowly revealed. It is soaked until the sea loosens its hold and the debris falls away, then polished by hand and set piece by piece.

Made by hand by artisans in the Philippines, whose skills have been passed down through generations and whose time is honoured fairly. So no two are quite alike.
