Each shell is found, then slowly revealed. It is soaked until the sea loosens its hold and the salt and debris fall away, then polished by hand until the lustre comes through.
Made over nine weeks by twenty artisans in the Philippines, whose skills have been passed down through generations and whose time is honoured fairly. So no two are quite alike.
